As a Product Design Intern, you will play a critical role in product thinking and problem solving efforts, working closely with our cross-functional teams bringing our vision to life. The ideal candidate gets to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, result-driven, AI Native environment. Applicants must be good at informing designs through critical product thinking, design user experience & user interfaces for web platforms.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Designing a feature from start to finish which includes: research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping and testing, that effectively communicates interactions and design concepts.
  • Leverage AI tools to speed up design workflows, generate high-quality outputs, and optimize iterations.
  • Building and working on design systems and paying close attention to details in design, such as colors, typography, etc. so that UI patterns remain consistent.
  • Conduct thorough research on drone operations, regulations, competitors, and user behaviors to inform and guide design decisions.
  • Collaborating with various teams, such as engineering, customer success, robotics, business and marketing.
  • Leveraging the drone industry knowledge to translate complex technical specifications into user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Read and understand technical API and SDK documentation to derive actionable insights.

Best suited for candidates who

  • Good command over Figma.
  • Knowledge about WCAG guidelines.
  • Responsive design.
  • Creating Design Systems & implementing them.
  • Experience with AI tools like Claude, Lovable, Vercel V0, Galileo AI, or Figma AI plugins.
  • Strong research skills & methodologies.

Compensation:
